AIDS Consortium of the Treasure Coast

"Section 26I7(b)(6)(A) states that the public health agency administering the Title II grant for the state must engage in a public advisory planning process, including public hearings. The public planning process will provide the Sate aid in developing and implementing the State's comprehensive plan. The public advisory planning process should include"... those individuals and organizations listed below. “ [CARE Act]

The Public Advisory Process is conducted within the parameters of the AIDS Consortium of the Treasure Coast. Specifically, the Planning Committee of the Consortium is responsible for the planning process. Planning meetings are held each month. The Planning Committee follows a work plan and develops work products (with the assistance of a health planner) such as the Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Client Satisfaction Surveys and Comprehensive Plan. A calendar of meetings is provided to each member on a monthly basis. All meetings are held in Ft. Pierce (central location) either at the St. Lucie County Health Department or Project Response. Meetings can be changed based on the decision of the members of the Planning Committee. Consortium meetings are held bi-monthly and all work products are approved by the total Consortium. All meetings are open to the public.

In the spirit of full participation, individuals and representatives of the following groups or organizations participate in our yearly planning process.
